Brass Eye Center in Albany New York
Dr. Brass started practicing in the Capital District in 1997. He opened his own practice in 2000 and moved to the Capital Region Health Park in 2001. Dr. Sunah Alexander, optometrist, joined Dr. Brass in 2004. The practice expanded in January of 2005. The Optical Shop was added in July of 2006.
Dr. Brass is the lead Ophthalmologist at the Brass Eye Center in the Capital Region Health Park in Latham. He is an Associate Clinical Professor at Albany Medical Center and an Attending Physician at the Stratton VA Medical Center. He is active in Family Practice and Ophthalmologic resident education. Family practice residents rotate through Dr. Brass' private office on a monthly basis. In addition, Dr. Brass spends one day per week instructing ophthalmology residents in surgical and clinical skills at the VA Medical Center. He is fellowship trained in cornea, external disease and refractive surgery. He sees patients for all types of ophthalmologic conditions ranging from corneal disease, cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, dry eye, laser vision correction, as well as routine eye evaluation.
